Achieving zero-emission HGV performance
Established in 2025 to expand the company’s hydrogen mobility solutions across continental Europe and headquartered in Turin (Italy), the business focuses on deploying and commercialising Metier’s hydrogen internal combustion engine (H2 ICE) technology, particularly for heavy-duty commercial vehicles.
Its core proposition is the repowering of diesel trucks (initially, DAF LF and IVECO Eurocargo) to run on hydrogen, enabling fleet operators to meet zero-emission performance, while retaining vehicle assets and avoiding the higher costs of replacement.
We expect to offer a range of repowering solutions, from vans to articulated vehicles and buses, in the near future.
Our Services
Our European business acts as the commercial bridge between Metier’s UK-based R&D team and Turin-based FPT Industrial (formerly Fiat Powertrain, now part of Tata Motors/IVECO Group), who supply the CNG engine that we convert to H2, enhancing Metier’s European capabilities and prospects of large-scale market engagement, as well as enhancing the rollout of Metier Repower across Europe.
A Joined-Up Strategy
Metier Technologies Europe operates as a market-facing, partnership-led entity, working with fleet operators, hydrogen producers and refuelling infrastructure providers to build an integrated ecosystem.
This approach aims to provide certainty of hydrogen supply and works toward diesel parity prices, acclerating fleet decarbonisation across European low and zero-emission zones.
